Rare Christian Dior handbag from the John Galliano era, coordinating with the embroidered floral coat from Dior's Spring/ Summer 2006 collection.
Crafted in soft ivory pebbled leather, the bag features elaborate multicolored floral embroidery in soft pink, cream, green and blue tones. The embroidery includes chrysanthemums and other stylized blossoms and foliage, creating an especially beautiful three-dimensional contrast against the textured leather.
Finished with silver-tone hardware, double zip-top closure, structured top handle and oversized hanging D-I-O-R letter charms.
Smaller Christian Dior logo hardware accents appear throughout.
The reverse is intentionally left unembroidered, emphasizing the floral design across the front. Protective metal feet at the base.
Very good vintage condition. The leather remains supple and the floral embroidery is beautifully preserved. There is some peeling/ loss to the edge coating along portions of the top handles, a condition issue commonly seen on vintage leather handles of this type.
Additional light wear includes minor rubbing and darkening along some edges and seams and light wear to the silver-tone hardware.
